The Old Mill Gallery is located next door to Willow Tree Barn. It is open to the public on the first two weekends of every month. Contemporary painting, prints, jewellery, ceramics and Italian handmade soaps are sold there. Our exhibitions change every fortnight. A variety of workshops are on offer, including 'Pastel Workshops' and 'Life Drawing Classes' . Contemporary handmade jewellery is availble throughout the year. My drawings of animals always start with a face to
face study of my subject. This way I can feel the character of the
animal as well as studying its particular visual features. As animals
rarely stay still for long I draw rapidly making several in quick
succession to capture a sense of life and movement.
I favour a minimal statement over a more laboured study My aim is to make a drawing which contains life and personal character. Gallery open:
