Following the Competewod programming on an 8 week cycle designed to massively increase your fitness both physically and mentally.
Throughout the year we will be running classes for beginners. These will run continuously with classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.30pm. You will learn the fundamentals to Functional Fitness and give you the perfect introduction to become a full member and joining our main Competewod Classes.
Our Never Too Late Class is designed to provide a session for those who are just beginning a fitness journey, those who are a little older or those returning from injury. These classes will focus on all the fundamental movements at a less intense pace with extra emphasis on mobility and overall fitness. Functional Fitness can be very demanding and these classes will allow you to work at a pace suited to your current fitness level. Class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.30pm
Saturday Teams workouts are extremely popular within Functional Fitness gyms. These workouts are always tough but typically performed in teams and pairs and epitomise the community spirt within our gym.
Functional Fitness Kids are for kids aged between 5 and 12 and are a 45 minute class designed to be fun yet challenging helping kids develop the physical and mental skills to take on everyday fitness challenges. The can be an excellent stepping stone to bigger things and a great way to get fitter to compliment other sports. Running every Wednesday from 4.15pm (CURRENRTLY ON HOLD PLANNING TO BE RESUMED IN THE NEW YEAR)
Part of Functional Fitness legend is to celebrate those who have fallen in the line of duty. These tribute Workouts will test both mind and body and help us be mindful of those who have sacrificed so we dont have to.
As it suggest this is for you to use the gym freely during non class sessions to work on your own programming or just come and blast the rower and sweat for an hour.
